My in-laws spoil DD by bending to her every whim and wish. They literally get on the floor crawling with her, snatch her up at the first inkling of a cry or whimper. They don't have much money so they don't spoil her with material things, thank goodness. Cause I spoil her with that. My parents don't spoil her as much because they are much more strict, but they do show that they love her to pieces.

They don't spoil with toys or clothes or stuff like that. They spoil her with attention. Always carrying her, rocking her to sleep even when I say not to, coo and cuddle...They just shower her with so much love and attention, I love it.

I have a bonus son who is 4. My parents are the only one's that spoil him. His bio-grandparents are really struggling financially. We don't mind because the spoiling that they do is pretty normal I think for grandparents. For instance, if we go shopping with my Mom, she'll always let him get a build-a-bear or buy him an ice cream cone. It's sweet and he loves her.

Yes. But I'm ok with it, that's what grandparents are for. One day I'll be spoiling my lo's lo.

Same situation for us. My parents are visiting now so the LO will have 2 weeks of being really spoiled and then that's it for a while.

My parents live on the other side of the country and Mr. Bee's parents live abroad, so Charlie isn't really spoiled by them since we don't see them that often.

My mom does buy Charlie and Olive lots of clothes, but not too many toys.
