Yes, my parents do. My dad goes way overboard, he buys ice cream, chocolate, cake, you name it. Funny thing is my dad doesn't indulge at all, it's my son and my mom that are the family chocolate monsters.

My dad has a couple things stashed for us and ds (he's a diabetic and rarely eats them unless he has low blood sugar). But he asks first usually before offering ds anything.

Ugh. My MIL does AND buys them candy when out and about. I honestly wouldn't mind her giving them a little treat from time to time because my LOs only see their grandparents a few times a year, but she gives them sugary stuff all day long (candy, juice, ice cream after lunch and dinner, etc). She also doesn't ask us first. It's just waaaay too much.

My dad doesn't because I ask him not to. On the other hand, I do encourage him to take them out for ice cream or something like that, again, because we see him maybe once or twice a year and I think it's something special/fun they can do together.

No, but it's mainly because of their food allergies. They will only feed them foods that I bring over. Sometimes my FIL has allergy friendly popsicles for a treat.

The kids love going to Grandma's (MIL). She has a ton of treats lying around and whenever she visits, she always has treats in her pockets. I get annoyed but I never say anything since she's my MIL!

Luckily no. But my mom will bake cookies and bring them over which is fine - it's all in moderation. They always have fruit and yogurt on hand.

no, they usually check with us about what lo eats and stock up on the healthy snacks she likes. my first thought was how this would be annoying to me, but my grandma did this growing up and it's one of my favorite memories of her! haha

My parents, no, just because they don't eat it. They keep the Hershey's chocolate drink boxes in the house for the grandkids, though, which D loves! My ILs always have candy in the house because my MIL is a sweetsaholic. He gets a piece or 2 when we're there. Whatever. My mom worked at The Hershey Company when I was growing up and we always had candy in the house. I ate it a fair amount. My teeth are fine. I'm not overweight. There are worse things than a few pieces of candy or a juice box every now and then.

My parents - no because they don't see/have any kids around regularly. My in laws have juice because they live with their eldest son and his 9 year old. However, DS doesn't care for juices right now so we're good. I'm sure DD will be all over it though!

Not candy/juice, but my dad is a slacker so there's always a good stash of crackers/pretzels - way more variety than we ever have at home. My LO's love it, though my mom and dad would never give without asking.

No since my kid is only 2. But they do always have juice and Gatorade and he gets to drink as much as he wants. At home we rarely have juice and if we give him some we water it down.

No but my parents take my son out for lunch twice a week and he always has French fries. He seems to often taste their fatty food too. Sometimes the lunch list will read things like French fries, bacon, avocado, tomato and ice cream.

My dad checks with me first but he always stocks up on "special Cheerios" (honey nut or multigrain, both slightly sweetened). I only get the plain at home since she still eats them just fine, so it's a special treat to have grandpas special Cheerios. Win win since I actually don't mind her having them at all. They wouldn't give her candy without checking with me though.

My FIL is a sugar freak and always has candy stashed for my kids! My DH said when he was a kid he would open random places, like the glove box in the car and there would always be candy bars stashed away. Ha!

My mom does her best to have healthy options. Her version of healthy isn't quite my version but she does a great job and trues her best. That's all anyone can do. My MIL, FIL and Dh's grandmother share property with us and she is getting candy, cookies and peppermint constantly. I had to ask them to stop offering it to her so much because it was affecting her sleep. It was hard to ask that but it's been bothering me for a while and when I noticed it affects Ted her rest, I had to draw the line.

My mom likes to get him sweet things like mini donuts or mini rice krispie treats. But she always offers him other healthier options for snacks too. When we visit the ILs it's similar. They get some junk and some of his other healthy favorites too. I'm fine with that. :)

My mom has a candy stash and fruit juice for the kids... and of course, they love her for it!

I'm not a big fan but she loves giving them candy and I didn't want to deny her that. So we let the kids have candy in moderation but then they have to brush their teeth when they get home. It seems to be working for now - and we'll find out soon whether or not they have any cavities!
