It bothers me because I know what my own privacy settings are and who can see it, but I have no idea what hers are. The issue has sort of resolved itself because I have stopped posting pictures on facebook (maybe 3-4 a year now? Halloween, and a family picture...)</p> <p>We share pictures on Instagram, but my account is private and I have to approve anyone who wants to see it. There are a couple times she's posted a photo I sent her privately, but I don't mind. She's bragging about lo (one was of lo "reading" a book when she was like 4 months, lol), plus she's super involved so it's not like she's being a poser-grandma, lol</p> <p>Mil rarely posts anything, I just looked at her pics (she's literally only ever posted about 20 pics!) and she's taken pics we sent her of lo twice in 2.5 years and posted them as if they were her own. My FIL never posts or shares photos of the girls. My MIL would share every.single.photo I posted to my account. It drove me absolutely insane so now I have her blocked (restricted so she can't see anything I post unless it's public.) So now that she rarely sees the girls, she doesn't post pics of them. We texted her pics after my second was born ( fresh pics, like when she was getting weighed) and my MIL posted that to her fb. I was livid. A naked pic of my daughter, still blue as the cord was around her neck, still with blood all over her. He sees LO maybe 1-2 times per year, so it is a little annoying. He's dyingggg to tell the world we are expecting LO #2 but I have vetoed. My mom occasionally posts a pic of LO, but she always asks first and it's when she is actually visiting. Same with MIL. They're all super involved with him and see him all the time. Only my mom is on social media and she's a very light user. My sister in law will occasionally post a photo of my son without asking but I try to let it go. I don't post him more than 1-2 times a year myself so it does bother me. The thing that annoys me is my mom will take pictures I email her or put on Instagram and post them to her Facebook without asking. If I wanted those pictures on Facebook I'd put them on Facebook! Meanwhile some other grandparents are really involved with their grandkids, but they rarely show up on their social media.</p> <p>None of my kids' grandparents are on social media, so I dodged this particular bullet! </p>
