Everyone who visits or who he sees in the halls or elevator of his building have to stop and look at her pictures. Even us. :) it's very sweet. Both sets of grandparents give her special attention even though she's not the first on DHs side. We're pretty blessed to be loved so much. ETA: I should say that all the grand kids on DHs side get special attention. Not just ours! They're really good about making all the kids feel like they're the only one. Lo is the 2nd grandchild on dh's side and it's totally obvious that the first grandchild is the favourite. DD is the seventh grandchild for my husband's parents, and she couldn't be more lost in the shuffle. My parents treat him like one of the grandkids out of 4. He's the baby of them, so he gets that level of attention. I guess my mom does treat him like the baby because she loves buying clothes and awesome toys for him. He gets cards from my family for holidays and other stuff. With my inlaws, it's hard to tell. They Skype with him every couple of weeks, but for being their first grandchild and the second great-grandchild, you wouldn't know it by how they show or not show interest in him. They don't send cards or anything age appropriate for him. Like with everything relating to our family, there's a general lack of interest with them.
