I love it! I always knew my parents would prefer grandsons since they only have two girls (and it's a cultural thing). Turns out my in laws have the same preference. I'm pretty sure my in-laws wanted a girl since they have all boys (my husband has three brothers!) For the second kid, I was convinced it was a girl (I was referring to my kids as "the girls" before we even had an ultrasound) so I think everyone else kind of expected it, too. Except my sister, who REALLY wanted me to have a boy. My in laws has 3 boys so I can see why they would. But I was a bit offended that even though my parents have 2 girls, that they still favor DS over DD. I am very deliberate about making sure DD gets ample face time with both her grandparents so they can see how cute she is as well. </p>
