@mediagirl: Yeah it's definitely sour....I just couldn't really get on board. I did start making my own kombucha recently, which is fermented and has lots of good probiotics in it, like Kefir does. And i like the way that tastes! And E likes it, too.

They used to drink plain kefir but they don't like it anymore. I'm too lazy to flavor it and the flavored ones have a lot of sugar.

@yin: @blackbird: it seems pretty gross...the smell reminds me of sour cream! I can't drink it but she drinks it without comment.

I used to, but I just generally wasn't a big enough fan of it to keep drinking it.

I used to add kefir to my smoothies. It takes getting used to the flavor, but I enjoyed it. Unfortunately my kids are allergic to dairy, and I've been on a restricted diet for the past year. :(

We have started giving our daughter Kefir milk at breakfast and dinner. It seems to have eliminated some of her belly issues she was experiencing. Maybe it's cutting out some of the whole milk, maybe it's the Kefir milk, maybe it's just life...I don't know. I do know whatever it is is working so we're sticking with it. :)
