<description>&#60;p&#62;I can get behind that. I recently got a tablet and there are certain games on there that I've thought are not much different than some of her toys. The only thing we let her watch passively is musical stuff. It's not necessarily that I would recommend it as ideal but it keeps her happy in the car when I've just had enough screaming and crying. (She is not a fan of the car...)

<description>&#60;p&#62;I agree with this at a toddler plus age. Obviously a baby isn't really interacting with an iPad (maybe cause effect but that's it). But for a toddler I can see the value in her playing a matching game on the iPad rather than passively watching tv.

<description>&#60;p&#62;What do you think? The interactive vs passive makes sense to me! I still think babies should interact with other people &#38;amp; physical objects more than screens, but technology is a part of our daily lives now so I think shunning it is not realistic &#38;amp; probably over the top.&#60;/p&#62;
