@bhbee: @MommySLP: @Mrs. Tiger: thanks! I hope they can easily retrieve it! Problem is I need an u/s first then an OB referral... so I have no idea what the timeline will be. But it is what it is!

@MommySLP: same thing happened to me! OB had no problem removing it when it was time. @QBbride: hopefully your OB can just get up in there and handle it 😉

@QBbride: yes, this happened to me! I had to get an ultrasound and it was right where it was supposed to be, my OB just had cut the strings too short. (This was during an annual so I wasn’t having it removed). When I was ready for removal, the new OB had a little more difficult time removing it but not too bad. I’d imagine the OBs have a lot more experience and won’t have a problem. Good luck!

I went to my family doctor today to have my IUD removed (to TTC) and he couldn’t find the strings! He’s sending me for an ultrasound and will get an OB consult for removal. Argh. I’m so frustrated because it took us so long to decide on #3 and now we have to wait who knows how long!! :crying:
