I have chronic hip pain and it is so much worse during pregnancy. Towards the end of both pregnancies I could barely walk without wincing in pain. The second time around I finally got a support belt on Amazon. OMG. Having it on versus not, is literally night and day. The pain isn't all gone but I am so much more comfortable. I forgot it one day at home and definitely felt the difference. The one I bought was pretty low profile and sat under my bump. Never had an issue with it showing through my clothes.

ETA: this is the one I had It's You Babe Mini Cradle, Small (136-180 Pounds) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000I615Q4/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_htehwbFC2P27Y

It helped with me. I didn't know it was RL pain until my sister told me what the pain was. It did feel better to hold or support my belly, which I why I ordered a maternity support belt.

Get a Serola SI belt (they sell them on amazon). The maternity stuff did nothing for me, but the serola belt took my pain from an 8 to a 2-3 on the pain scale.

@BabyBoecksMom: I'm only 21 weeks and my pelvis is already popping on a regular basis. Maybe I should try the belt to help hold it together for a little longer.

I didn't have RL pain, but I had bad pelvic separation pain. I bought a cheap support belt from Target and it definitely helped, but it didn't make it go away all together.

My midwife let me borrow one and it helped occasionally but not enough for me to decide to invest in one personally. Plus, it looked super weird under clothing so I never wanted to wear it in public. RL pain sucks and really killed me towards the end. I had to stop going to prenatal yoga at around 32-34 weeks which was a bummer, because I just couldn't do anything that put pressure on my right leg unless it was very modified.. I never found any good remedies other than taking it easier when it seemed especially sore.

I am experiencing some nasty round ligament pain this pregnancy. My right leg just feels like it's going to fall off. I've heard of people using a maternity belt for back pain, but would it help with the ligament pain also? Any belt recommendations or other tips for relieving ligament pain?
