However, some guys get a lot more pain, or excessive scarring which causes long term pain (this happened to my Dad - who is honestly the toughest guy I know. He was almost completely unable to work, and was on percocet from month 2 post-op to month 6 post-op when they did laser treatment on the scar tissue). He specifically told us that he just sat on a pack of ice for a few hours after while smoking a cigar and relishing the fact that he never had to worry about having any more children again!!
