In my experience (limited, as I only have 1 child), YES. My super-active fetus turned into a "spirited child." You may want to look into the book, "Your Spirited Child" if you think you may have one on the way!

I'm curious to know as well. I don't think she moves much in the womb, but the doctor always comments about how active she is on the ultrasounds and checks. I'll know in a few days :-)

I'm curious to know about this, too! Baby H moves nonstop and at our last appointment, the midwife couldn't "clock" the heartbeat because the baby was kicking and moving around too much!

Well, I can say that our daughter was very mellow inside and very mellow on the outside. I don't know if that holds true for everyone :)

My LO was SUPER active in my tummy. He came out with bruises on his feet because he was kicking so much. They had to give him xrays when he was born to make sure he didn't fracture his feet! He was a super mellow newborn though. Now that he's a fullgrown toddler, he's a lot more active but I think that goes for more toddler boys.

I guess its not that bad if she does end up being active... especially since my husband is already planning her future as an exquisite soccer player out!

My baby was active in my belly, and she's pretty active out. She sleeps well at night (12 hours since 2 1/2 months) probably because she tires herself out during the day!

My baby is very active! My Doctor even mentions it at every visit. Does anyone have experience with this, I am a little worried this will mean many sleepless nights when she is finally here!
