@looch: I have no idea. I guess I didn't think to look at the washing machines when we were touring the apartment.

@artbee: Yeah, I line dry my covers though. Maybe I will switch to line drying everything. Although, one tenant told me that there is something the dryer is hooked up to that makes sure the items are dry before the dryer stops so that you don't have to pay extra $$ to dry again.

That would be tough! It's an all day process for me to do the diapers as it is..... with all of the soaks and rinses, and then it takes three cycles for me to dry.

Good luck!

Do you have a specific day you can do laundry, or can you pretty much do it whenever it is free? Is it easy to change the options on the machine, or is it just put the coins in and that's the cycle?

I guess it depends...I've lived with community laundry and it was a pain, just to get our regular stuff done, I couldn't have also dealt with diaper laundry.

CD wasn't an option for me for this reason, but I have seen people in my building washing cloth diapers in the community laundry so it can be done. I guess you just have to decide not to be deterred by the fact that it is less convenient.

We are moving to an apartment building which means community laundry. We've been fortunate enough to have our own laundry for all the places we've rented up until now which has been sooo nice.

I'm really worried about what it will be like CD'ing while having community laundry, and lugging it all the way to the other end of the floor to the laundry room!!

Anyone else in the same boat as me?
