Baby X likes the TV too. We just keep it off or keep him out of the room when it's on at the grandparents' houses. But Baby X loves all screens-- it's crazy how he'll even stare at microwave clocks, the pin pad screen at the grocery store. She will scoot herself around to see it so I usually try to turn it off if I'm playing with her. On her play mat, she's now figured out how to scoot herself around to see the tv so we prop a pillow up against the side so she can't see around it. We mostly watch the news or documentaries so I'm not too worried about that but it's the adverts that bug me!
