The ones I'm around run the house - so they jump on people/furniture/beds, tug on leashes... And whine when that behavior isn't allowed. And there's definetly a difference in the owners, some houses stink and are covered in fur. Some are pretty clean. But to me, no matter how hard you clean up, there's going to be some hair, and animals do smell different than humans. And I never want to pick up poop. Before I had a dog, I didn't like other people's pets but now I understand why owners love their pets so much. And I think the love you have for your own pet doesn't need to be shared by other people.
