My 3 year old LO has been attending Primrose for the past 6 months. We love it!
He has been in 3 childcare facilities so far. The first one was a small church run center. His class had 5 children and a wonderful teacher. He did get bitten a handful of times but he was a lot younger. We moved to a new house and had to switch day cares. There was a Primrose being built but construction was not complete. So we enrolled him in Stepping Stone. The classes were large (12 kids) and disorganized. He was there for a year until we had some major concerns with security and pulled him out. By then Primrose was open and despite it bringing $400/mo more we decided to go for it.

Primrose is amazing. The facility is so new and clean. This is the biggest class he's been in - 24 kids! Yet his teachers are amazing and the class is way less chaotic than his smaller classes.
The meals are very healthy and they have a board of kids with food allergies.
The security is far better! Would be happy to discuss the details offline :)

A day in the life:
They are open 6:30-6:30. I WFH and usually drop him off around 8:30. By then more of the children and there and quietly are listening to one teacher tell a story while the other teacher is setting up stations. Stations are usually around a theme i.e.: weather and feature a particular letter, as well as Spanish words. One station may be crafting a cloud, the other may be tracing the letter S under a picture of a sun, and another one may be flash cards.
What I love is there is a ton of parental involvement.
Feel free to ask any questions. I'll privately send you a screenshot of his daily report.

@NCSUchick27: everything is pricy by us :bummed:
@dragonsword: the class size is something to think about. She is in a small class now so I wonder how she would do if they reach max, 24.
@matador84: the meals are so great where we are now. One of the reasons I don't want to switch her.

@MrsTal: I really think the teachers is the biggest thing to make me like or not like a school.
@MamaG: not really. One just opened up near us. They had an open house this past Saturday. It was really nice but of course it is all brand new. LO loved the playground. The owners and director seemed really nice. But I wish the teachers had been there. I just don't know anything about their style of education. We will probably go back for another visit once they open.

Both of mine have been since 3 months (now 3 and 1 1/2) and I have been very happy with it. There have been one or two teachers that I didn't love, but they never lasted very long. Both kids go to school smiling and come home happy and tired (and with some lessons learned!) They have been great helping with potty training DD also.
Overall, have nothing to compare it to but I feel 100% good about leaving them each day.
I do have friends with kids at other schools and they need to pack lunches. I just don't have the time or patience for that so it's great they get snacks and lunch provided.
Happy to answer any specific questions you have also!

my nephew goes to one and they love it--I have heard nothing but good things from my sister in law. We don't have them where I live, but I have looked on their website and do like the core knowledge curriculum they use. I also know they make the meals on site and they are awesome from what I hear!

@Smurfette: Do you have any specific questions? So much of our experience ties into the personnel (some that I absolutely love and some that have moved on and I'm not sad about) but if you have any questions about the overall approach to childcare, I'm happy to try to share our experience. We've been happy overall. Our older was there from 1-4 (she's in a public (private pay) pre-K program that I think is better suited to her). Our younger has been there since 8 weeks and is now 15 months.

My son was at primrose for 9 months. I transitioned to a SAHM in February when he turned one. I liked our infant room and older infant room teachers but my co-worker's son got a concussion on their watch and they had no idea how it had happened. This was after he was bitten 4-5 times in the same room (he was 2.5 at the time). We were very uncomfortable with the way my co-worker and her family were treated but at that time we knew I would be transitioning to stay at home so we stayed. That being said I think it was a combination of the administration at our primrose and the teachers in the older room which resulted in those incidents. I liked them when we started and had I decided to stay at work I may have considered staying.

My son was in Primrose between 1 - 3 yrs, overall we loved that they fed him healthy meals and most of the teachers. However, we didn't get a warm fuzzy feeling with the admin staff and they did weird things (in my opinion) like switching out teachers so the kids had to get use to someone new in the middle of the school year. My son started complaining and fighting about going to school (around 2.5 years old). Our friend (who is more like family) started up her own home-based daycare so we pulled him out. He's much happier with the smaller/less kids/ more attention atmosphere. I think he's an introvert and all the yelling/kids were too much for him.

We talked to some of the teachers on our last day and they agreed with our feelings on some of the administrators. However, they seem to pay their teachers better than most places so that's why a lot of them stick around.

Yes, we've been a Primrose family for 3.5 years now. We love it. I will say that I don't necessarily love all of the admin staff, but I do love most of the teachers we've had.

My niece used to go to one. My SIL and my niece both loved it. The only reason they moved her to a new daycare is they moved and the location wasn't convenient anymore. I think my SIL's only complaint was that it was a little pricey.
