The nanny comes early in the morning, gets the kids ready, breakfast, and drives them to daycare. All in all about 2.5 hours each morning. It's a younger college student but has worked very well for them for about 8 months now. My SIL had her kids ride the bus home so the nanny didn't have to deal with carpool lines. We'd really love to send DD since it's a million times cheaper than daycare, but we'd have to get a part time nanny or babysitter to pick her up from school and watch her for 2.5-3 hours a day. </p> <p>Does anyone have a set up like this? Do you just use a babysitter or have a part time nanny? I can't imagine anyone actually being available 3 hours a day / wanting to do this! </p>
