@TurtleDoves: Mine's a T8.0, we got it a few years ago. But yeah, I was able to justify ours by canceling both gym memberships :) I hope you can find one, it's so nice to have to keep up the motivation when the weather sucks!

@lawbee11: yes, I need under $400 or $400. My sister's treadmill is +1k so this buy will be a step down for me haha, but I sooo need one. I like the reviews on this one you're showing me!
*oh I just noticed it has the cross country walking poles! Just like at the gym...got to try this brand at my Sears this week.

@MerryC: that's the one my sister has been lending me:) the nordictrack 1550? I think my gym membership + jogging stroller+ the fact that our neighborhood is so smooth paved will mean that DH will never get me this.ever.

I'm not sure what your budget is, but here's my two cents. I think my folks have a similar one to pp. We considered it, but found it best for walking vs running. Its perfect for my mom to walk every night. We got a nordictrack one for 799 from sears and love it. It was not really cheap but has great cushion and a fan cooled motor so it should last a long time, even running quite fast on a regular basis. Regardless of the weather, with LOs sometimes its just easier to hop on the treadmill, so we use it a lot.

We have this one from Sears:

http://www.sears.com/proform-crosswalk-395-treadmill/p-00624833000P?prdNo=1&blockNo=1&blockType=G1

Not sure if you consider that price super cheap, but under $400 for a treadmill seems cheap to me! We've had it since September and haven't had any problems. I use it 3-4x/week. I do not do any hardcore running on it because I am pregnant (so I can't tell you how it is for running). When we first got it I jogged, and now I walk at a fast pace with incline. They let us test it at Sears, so you could go to the store and try it out.

I LOOOVE the treadmill. I used to use it at the gym everyday and now I am borrowing my sister's (for last 8w). However, I have to return it today because she has a marathon to train for and surprise, surprise, Michigan's weather still sucks, so she needs to train indoors.
I have like a few days to find another treadmill because I don't want to go any amount of time without working out, but DH refuses to pay good money because he says it'll get warm and there are many running parks around here and I have a jogging stroller. So, we agreed that if I can find a good, inexpensive one, then I can get it.
Any tips? I'm thinking craigslist but then again, if I can find a new one for cheap then that'd be better.
