Well we are also getting his belly button fixed while he is "out" because it's really ugly, like really ugly. Even though you would think, oh, he was just sleeping, my DS has always been BEAT afterwards and sleeps way more than normal.</p> <p>I can't help with taking care after that specific surgery :( my DS has had several abdominal surgeries and you always feel awful to change their diaper since it hurts to lift their legs. Is it an outpatient procedure? This was pretty well the most common operation they did - I just asked him and he said that its not a complicated procedure and it always has excellent outcomes. It was later removed or dissolved and now he doesn't have any issues. He was a little out of it that day and couldn't "straddle" sit on anything for a while but other than that he recovered well.</p> <p>I'm so sorry you all have to go through this.
