When he gets it he just ices it &amp; if it's bad he will take meds. His is in his lower back &amp; can keep him from walking &amp; has made him fall to the floor out of nowhere before too. I ended up having a badly herniated disc and got a discectomy (back surgery) last year.<br /> Try the ibuprofen and Icing your back (no heat). I went this morning to get the results and one of the other doctors told me that I have mild arthritis in my back and a pinched nerve. What did you do for a pinched nerve? Did you see an orthopedist? </p>
