@MrsBird: It was a tough call between the B-Ready and the Vista. Both strollers have comparable weight and width, neither one has a carry handle, and both have similar folds. (The best fold, imo, is on the City Mini/City Select strollers.) The Vista comes with a few more accessories (although I was not interested in the bassinet), but the B-Ready has better options (like a recline on the second seat) and configurations as a double stroller. In the end, the Free Ride event and the possibility of a second child close in age to our first put the B-Ready just ahead of the Vista.

After all of this back-and-forth before making a decision, I will be curious to see just how much I actually use the darn thing!

@Thehistoryofus: I guess I didn't explain my question very well. I think pictures are the only way I can explain it... Yay for pics in HB! So there is the britax pic with the footrest nice & compact over the folded stroller seat, then there's mine with it all the way up, and then straight out, but I can't get it past the straight position to fold like the britax pic. If I unsnap the fabric I can, but that's silly. What am I doing wrong? :(

@mrs. bird: Aww man, that stinks. To be honest though, we have NEVER used our rain cover (just used a blanket if needed). I do use my organizer a lot though to hold cell phone, keys, and wallet.

@mrs. bird: I'm not sure what you mean. The foot rest doesn't really go into the fold. I do find that if I have ANYTHING in the basket part of the stroller, I have to take that out in order to get a good compact fold.

I stand at the handle bar and pull the sides up towards me. I kinda lean the handle on my stomach and pick up the bottom half of the stroller until it locks into place. Then I lay it into my SUV. It takes two hands but the stroller never has to touch the ground which I appreciate.

This has a good video of the stroller folding around the 5:45 mark, but again, I fold it while holding it parallel to the ground so the handle doesn't touch the ground.

@mrs. bird: Also to add, it doesn't come with those things mentioned but it does come with a rain cover, the cup holder, mud flaps for tires, bumper bar all which I believe are extra for the UBV

@Thehistoryofus: do you find it hard to get the foot rest to fold all the way like they show in the picture? I feel like the fabric it too tight for me to get it to do this :/ maybe I need to go fuss with it some more.

@septca: I agree, if you are thinking about it, I would go ahead and order from Amazon now. $400 for a stroller and infant car seat is a great price and that sale doesn't happen often.

@MsLipGloss: so jealous of your cowmooflage chaperone! i want one of those once we have a LO, it's adorable (and super safe of course, lol)!

i got a b-ready for work (don't have my own LO yet, but i'm a nanny, so i use baby gear all day), i could sell it if i decide i don't like it, or i can keep it for once i need one. i've only used it for 2 days, but i think i'll end up keeping it for myself. it's super versatile! i think as long as you are comfortable with the size, there's really no major flaws to it, just some little nit picky things- no carry handle anywhere on the side , which on a 26lb stroller would be helpful, not the easiest to fold stroller, the recline isn't completely flat, but i think it's perfectly fine and there's always the option of getting the bassinet if you really wanted LO to have the option of laying flat & stretching out, should come with a snack tray & a cup holder that doesn't suck, but again you can add these (yes, it does come with a cup holder, but i'd like one that doesn't stick out & get knocked around/off).

i live within easy driving distance of the factory store for uppa & for the same $$ as the britax could have gotten a refurb vista, but for me, the britax had more features that i was looking for so it was a better choice.

I love my B-Ready! I wrote a review about it on my blog (link on my profile).

I'm hoping to do a post baby review but not much has changed, we still love it! I do have to say that the stroller does fold with the seat facing the parents, its just not a compact fold. Also, the new 2012 seats do go completely upright.

I just received my B-Ready, so I haven't used it yet. Although it was a really close call between the Uppababy Vista and the B-Ready, I ultimately chose the B-Ready. I received the B-Ready (in Twilight) and the Chaperone car seat (in Cowmooflage!) yesterday. :)

Mine is coming in the mail as we speak! If you order on Amazon before next Tuesday (31st) you can get the seocnd seat or Car seat for free. I got it for some of the same reasons you said. I have heard others on here had/have it and love it.

I am just starting to look at baby gear and trying not to get totally overwhelmed... Going off advice I read on Lucie's List, I have decided to get a stroller that can be adapted with a doubles kit (LL advises this if you plan to have kids close together, which is both desired and a medical necessity for me) and that has a "snap and go" feature for a car seat. After looking at a million options, I think I like the Britax B-Ready the best - it has a ton of adaptation options, is really streamlined-looking, seems to be good for cities, and is highly reviewed without costing as much as a college education.

So... anyone have one? Do you love it? Hate it? Wish you had gotten something else?
