I'd recommend it. The silver/gray is pretty matte. Like others have said the "stainless" is matte and not shiny at all. We have this for our son and the stainless steel/silver in the kitchen is more matte and not obnoxiously shiny. We keep it in his room so it doesn't have to blend with our decor so much, but I will say that it is nice looking and not at all obnoxious! The stainless steel has a pretty matte finish and the whole thing is pretty nice. Is the stainless steel super shiny? </p> <p>I'm looking for a kitchen that will sort of "blend" with the decor since it will be in our main living area. The Vintage one seems a bit more furniture like, but the reviews say it's pretty small...I'd like my little one to get many years of use out of it and not outgrow it too soon.</p> <p>And yes, I'm way overthinking this kitchen decision :) </p>
