Well, I've been diagnosed with it. It's a weird diagnosis to get because while it can give some legitimacy to your pain, there's not an obvious treatment plan. </p> <p>The diagnostic tool they use is those pressure points. She put me on antidepressants, but I got pregnant a month after and stopped taking them. Since then I've tried a couple of other drugs without any relief. (Please be warned Lyrica is a pretty crazy drug. The side effects and withdrawal symptoms can be intense for some people FYI!)</p> <p>Basically it's like trial-and-error in symptom management. </p> <p>What's worked best for me is Chinese medicine. I do acupuncture, take herbs, and moxibustion. I also try not to eat too much sugar, get enough sleep, and limit physical exertion. I plan so that I can have a break if I have to do something physically exhausting (ie. going in to work--I usually work at home--, grocery store or any other all-day outing.)</p> <p>Some people do certain elimination diets, but I've never given that a serious try since I've been pregnant and/or nursing ever since I was diagnosed.
