@Smurfette: yes - it started getting a little better, like 4 or 5 hr stretches at the end of week 3/beginning of week 4 and now we're on day 5 of full nights of sleep. Hopefully it's right around the corner for you!

@JerricaBenton: So the regression lasted a month for you? We are about 3 weeks in, hoping it goes away soon!

She's 4.5 months. She matured so much over the last month so I definitely think the sleep disturbance had to do with all that. It was like having a newborn again for a few weeks! Hopefully that's all it is for you and she'll be sleeping better soon! She's probably gonna be rolling over and grabbing feet any minute!

@JerricaBenton: Yes, she rolls to her side but that is as far as she has gotten. She puts her hands in her mouth constantly. She kicks her legs up but isn't grabbing them....yet. How old is your LO again?

@Smurfette: LO started her sleep regression at 3.5 months and it's gotten better over the past few weeks and has slept 7 - 8 hrs ths last 3 nights. I definitely think the 4 month sleep regression can come early. Has she started rolling/putting feet in mouth or anything during this time?

Hope R's sleep improves soon!

@NovBaby1112: Yeah she turns 4 month next week. I am just trying to think of anyting else it could be since it started closer to 3 months. I am afraid we haven't hit the regression yet.

@hilsy85: Yeah I am pretty much grasping at straws here. I figure I will start cutting it tomorrow and see if it helps. I haven't noticed it affecting her in the past. but at this point I am so desperate, I will try anything.

I haven't noticed a difference in my LO either (and I cut it out for a while along with dairy . . . this was before LO was diagnosed with reflux).

It doesn't affect my LO as far as I can tell...can you cut it out for a week or so and see if there's any improvement? Maybe do caffeine free to get the same taste at least?

Since R got a cold three weeks ago, her sleep has gotten worse every night. I think she is on the mend now, but she after a 3 or 4 hour stretch at the beginning of the night, she is waking up every hour and half.

I started thinking I am drinking more Diet Coke during the day to get me through the work day. Could this be effecting her? I have 2 or 3 cans a day. I also drink plenty of water.

How do you know caffeine affects your LO?
