We have the option of bringing our own, but I'm not too worried since they stock a nice, natural brand. I love picking her up at summertime - all of the kids are super white from the zinc in the sunscreen. We try to apply it in the morning and then they do s reapplication in the afternoon. I can't imagine not wanting my kid to have sunscreen ! Parents apply for the morning and then preschool does it before afternoon recess. The morning thing irks me a little, because I put it on at 6:30am and his recess is at 10:30am. It's a 4 hour gap and he's outside at a very hot part of the day. They play outside 2x/day. Their playground has a sun shade over most of it but they still get a bit of sun.</p> <p>We have to get a form filled out by LO's ped for them to put sunscreen on him before playing outside, which I haven't done that. Plus it seems like such a hassle for them to lather him up 2x/day when a lot of the playground is in the shade.</p> <p>Anyway, I noticed today after bath when LO was running around that he's getting a major farmer's tan on his neck and arms! So now I am worried I need to be having them put sunscreen on him.</p> <p>Do you have daycare put sunscreen on your LO when playing outside? Especially for those of you in more southern locations. </p>
