@Crumbs: Yeah, I hear you. C wore NB for 2 weeks, 0-3 for 6 weeks and 3-6 for about 2 months. She's been in her 6-9 stuff nearly 4 months though, so she's making up for it. I was thinking she would keep growing like she was and bought the dress in 12-18 (got a very good deal on it). It's going to be an evening gown on her. lol

@zippylef: If my DD slows down, the sweater dress will look like a sleep sack! If she sprouts up, the Carter's stuff I bought won't hardly get any wear.

I can't wait until she can actually wear out clothes again! So far it's only been her NB clothes.

YES. C sprouted up ridiculously fast until sometime between 4 and 5 months old. She was in 6-9 by 4 months old. She has not gained height since 5 months and hasn't gained any weight since sometime between 5 and 6 months. She'll be 8 months next week and is still in 6-9 in everything but sleepers.

I bought her a Christmas dress a couple months ago thinking she would keep growing and it's looking like it's going to be too big now.

Whew! It's great to hear because they sell clothes in length here as opposed to months. DD is actually turning 5 months next week, but the last time she was measured was during her last checkup so I'm just guessing her height now. The next size should fit her perfect at 6 mo. but I went a size bigger so she can get some use out of it. I guess I won't know until it arrives.

Buying stuff in advance is getting tricky!

My dd is the same as what nerdbee said, she's just a couple days from 7 months and has consistently still been growing in height but has only gained not even 2 lbs since 4 mos. She is also just starting to fit into some 12 month sleepers for length but was in 3-6 month ones at 4 months.

LO's weight gain slowed but he grew quite a bit in length. He's about 7.5 months and had only gained about 3 lbs since he was 4 months but has to wear 12 month sleepers now when he used to wear 6 month sleepers at 4 months.

I just bought LO a dress for Christmas since the one my mom got will be too small by then. But I might have bought a size too big =/

I went by how much she's grown every month and assumed it'll be the same for next month. But then I've read they slow down at 4 months on. Argh. I don't wanna have to make an extra trip to exchange it, especially since I bought it online to avoid that!

Did your LO's growth slow down at 4 months on?
