@Andrea: haha. my lo was constipated for 12 days. i ended up sticking the tip of my pinkie finger into her butt to help her poop.
she pooped a MASSIVE poop. I took a picture and posted the link on the thread I created. lol.

I'm on here for the same reason I joined Weddingbee - to keep out of my husband's hair while I freak out over things I can't control. Basically, it's like curling up in warm PJs and a blanket to get over a fever. Most of the time it works. Sometimes I end up needing to talk it over with him. But Hellobee works on baby fever well enough that I have yet to yell "GIVE ME BABIES!" at him.

@daniellemybelle: when I registered I refused to ask for an anal thermometer because I thought it was gross and would never want to do that to my lo. Now that she's hear I'd love to own the anal thermometer both for a more accurate reading and something to stick up there when she's constipated. Things really do change when you have a baby!

@chopsuey119: Well in that case, I would take a picture for medical reasons. Not for funsies though.

Hellobee definitely feeds my baby fever. But we are TTC so that may have something to do with it.

@daniellemybelle: Well I would never take a picture of my LO's poop, but sure I would stick my finger in there to clear up some constipation. You end up being willing to do most anything to make your LO feel better!

@mrbee: @chopsuey119: It's not just that she took a picture. She touched it. She put her pinky in her LO's butt. My thought process is - "Do I REALLY want to become someone who would have to do that, and be willing to?" Parenthood is not always as cute as it looks on Pinterest :)

@daniellemybelle: Well just for the record, most people don't photograph their LO's poops. Actually hmm, maybe that would make a good spinoff post!

@mrbee: Haha, definitely not! We have always known we are going to wait a couple more years, though sometimes I secretly, selfishly want a "surprise." (See my other thread!) But when I get the itch really bad, certain things on Hellobee help put things in perspective... and that poop DEFINITELY did. Lord.

Just to clarify, was Chopsuey119's baby's poop photo the deciding factor in your deciding to wait? Because that would be kind of awesome!

This is kind of a spinoff of ChopSuey119's infamous poop post. My immediate reaction was, "NO BABIES FOR ME YET. I don't know if I'm ready to be willing to TOUCH and PHOTOGRAPH another human's feces!!!"

Hellobee is such a baby fever roller coaster for me. It's like taking a combination of uppers and downers. I'll read one blog post or thread and just be overcome with desire for THAT - whatever that may be. But then I'll read another blog post or thread (more often a thread on the boards, as I feel they are more candid) and I'm like, wow. We're not ready for THAT.

If I had to say one way or another though, it definitely tempers my baby fever more than feeds it. It's really fun for me to play and plan for the future, but getting the behind-the-scenes tour of parenthood makes me more confident in our decision to wait a couple more years.

What about you guys?
