It is a family name on DHs dads side. My MIL told everyone it was pronounced the wrong way!!!! So now every. Single. Time. We see family that we only se once a year they all say it wrong because I think it's stuck in their head. Drives me absolutely insane. DH doesn't care as much. When we FaceTimed his aunt when my son was born she asked "will you pronounce it "X" or "y" and DH says "I think "X"..."</p> <p>And I'm yelling "we are definitely pronouncing it like "X"!!!!!" Ugh. For certain I didn't think anyone would get it wrong, but a friend added an "e" on the end. NBD I just let her know not to include an e. I totally forgot that his name is spelled a bit differently in different languages and there may be some confusion down the road because of that. Ex: I have met a "George" that spells his name "Jorge." He pronounces it the English way, but spells it the Spanish way. </p> <p>@Andrea: oh yeah, your name can be tough.
