I start listening to Christmas music at Thanksgiving, I got a Christmas tree the weekend of Thanksgiving even! I also am a big baker so I've been baking cookies for a couple of weeks for co-workers and family. I thought it was going to be awesome. I'm 7 months pregnant and was planning on taking some time off, but I had two nasty colds, one in October and starting at Thanksgiving (I got both of them during airplane travel) which set me back with work. Then last week all the GD testing made me really sick (because I have GD), which pushed me back even further. Oh well, no baking and goodies for me. Tomorrow I meet with a dietician. I love Christmas, and for the month of November was super excited about it. Then we went to Florida and it was wonderful, but when I got back and I had some stressful stuff at work (first advent season as a Children's/Youth pastor!) and grad school I just stopped feeling the spirit (and mostly wanted to go back to Florida!). But I finished my semester, feel good about my grades, and took LO to see Santa Claus, and had some family Christmases, and got a chance to treat myself with a gift card and treat my youth group kids by organizing a free shopping event where they could get gifts for their families, and it officially feels like the Christmas season again! Despite the fact there's no snow...even though we live in a northern state! </p>
