@MsLipGloss: well at least you have a choice. The white looks so good for like a minute. I try and not send R in white tops.

@Smurfette: The tops are all red, white, and blue . . . and I did choose a white one (for variety!). But yeah, that's a total parenting fail on my part!

and why, why, why did they choose white shirts for the uniform?

@Smurfette: No boo boos yet today, that I know of, but I did just get a message that LO dumped a bowl of carrot puree down her shirt . . . . did I mention she's wearing a brand new white uniform polo? LOL!

Yeah, pretty consistently. But we just had her on vacation for a week and she knocked herself around then as well. Whenever it's something bigger though (a visible bump on the head, bites, etc.), we get a separate incident report.

Often small scratches and bruises, but nothing too major. The only time I've received an incident report for our daughter was a single biting incident. At her old daycare though, she constantly had incident reports from falling and hitting her head, mouth, etc. I think she was just more clumsy back then when she was just learning to wealk.

DS has been coming home with lots of scratches on his lower legs the past month. When I inquire with daycare, they brush it off and say it's probably from bumping up against something like a toy. Makes me sad, but what can I do? Sigh.

This actually happened for the first time on Tuesday! LO got bonked in the head by a falling "tower".. not quite sure what that means, LOL. But she just had a little red spot that disappeared in a few hours. Made me feel bad though.. I know it'll happen but still :(

Now that it's summer, they have out door play time. And the water table is right next to the concrete wall so sometimes she'll have scrapes on her arms if she's playing right up against the wall since the water table is pretty popular. She also comes home with bruises on her knees (from falling down) and small scratches . Once she even came home with a big ole bit mark that still hasn't gone away fully 2 whole weeks later because some boy in her class bit her because she was playing with a toy he wanted. I chose not to be too upset because it happens. I did ask daycare to be more diligent with watching the boy that bit her since he's clearly acting out his frustrations with physical violence rather than words but I left it at that. Unless it's a regular occurrence, it's all part of daycare life!

Oh, yeah. We have a nanny so it is a bit different, but she gets bruises/scratches/bumps all the time. Since she gets them with me, too, I tend to think it's just part of being a toddler.

Oh yeah, she's super clumsy. I'm also bad at clipping her nails so she ends up scratching herself (fail!). She has lots of small bruises on her legs, but she falls a lot at home so I don't think much of it.

Aww, rough day for both of you. B gets scratches and cuts all the time at daycare. Never an incident report though. Makes me wonder about the level of supervision. He's also gotten bitten and no incident report. Only time I get accident reports is when he gets hurt really badly, like falling off a chair and huge bump on this head.
