@looch: same. She gets more on the weekdays, typically because she watches TV when she gets home and up until I turn it off before dinner. Weekends we are on the go so much that she hardly watches any at all.

Definitely. But he only gets about 30 minutes/day during the week, so I think it all evens out, like @looch: said.

No, he actually gets more during the week than on the weekends. It all evens out, I think, so I dont worry too much about it.

Yes, especially on weekend mornings. He and my mom take turns watching videos of trains on youtube or Little Einsteins. I don't feel bad about it, he doesn't really watch it during the week, and is usually playing with trains or cars when it's on (unless he's unusually tired, then they cuddle on the couch).

Oh god, yes! Its a shameful amount. We just have so much to do at weekends - djy, cleaning, laundry, meal planning/prep etc. If we have a lot of errands to run, she even gets the tablet in the car. I wish it wasn't this way, but it is.

Kind of? Def Sat mornings I'll keep the TV on longer than usual, and Sunday afternoons before dinner.

Is it bad that I don't think it's bad? I always watch with her and we point out interesting things and things she knows the words to and I encourage her to sing/dance along...

Yes, he won't get as much once the weather is warmer. It was warm here yesterday and he was out with his dad for 2 hours. When we're inside he asks for tv time and if we're tired or trying to get stuff done it's too easy to give in.

We had been doing too much and ds has started sleeping really bad. I blame pregnancy exhaustion and a cold! Not sure if screentime is related to his sleep so we are trying to do almost none for the week. He saw 0 screens today! Yesterday though he had a couple shows and a movie night.

Yeah, it's on pretty much all the time at my house. DH likes background noise. I would prefer the radio.

Yep. Screen time all the time here. I SAH with two and it saves my sanity! It's mainly background noise.

We've been really bad about screen time lately. I'm so exhausted all the time being in the first tri, plus a nasty, lingering cold I can't shake, plus DH's man cold 🙄

This weekend LO's watched way too much tv. Ugh. I think he's also got some of this cold we're dealing with because he's been really grouchy and has a runny nose.

Do your LOs get a lot of screen time on the weekends?
