We're on the multiples train. One for here, one for there. It seems to help him feel comfortable there (we're still new to daycare).

Good plan, we have multiples, including one for daycare, which works well. Good luck!

I do not let DD bring her lovey (right now, it's a bear with a plaid bow named "Christmas Bear") inside anywhere for several reasons- dirt, germs, losing it, and it makes other little friends jealous when she has her lovey and they don't have one. She brings it in the car everywhere and we buckle it in to her carseat when we leave it. Christmas Bear keeps the car safe for us.

I've always heard the suggestion to have a spare but we ended up just sending her one and never had any issues. I would wash it a couple times a week. I think it really helped with her naps at school.

Lo often carries a stuffie to daycare but she rotates which one, depending on her mood lol. The main stuffie that she always has in her crib stays in her crib though the other ones often end up there too

We have two. We try for one to go and one to stay (but sometimes both end up there and DH, teacher and I are diligent about getting one home). I let her take it to ease dropoff and help her nap. I do bring it home and was it at least once per week.

LO is pretty paci/lovey obsessed so they go everywhere. Somebody help us when we have to wean her off, so dreading that!

Same as others. We actually have 4 of the same lovey so we can always have a clean one for daycare, home, etc. School sends the lovey home every other week for washing.

Yes, both boys have loveys at school. It helps them sleep during nap times. We just buy a lot of them to keep a clean stash available.

I let her bring them if she wants (sometimes she does, sometimes she doesn't care), but when we get there, they stay in her bin the whole time, or else in our stroller which we store there. She doesn't get to bring them into the classroom. None of the other kids bring theirs into the classroom either so it's fine. For naps, she is allowed a light blanket so she brings an A&A blanket as well and we have a special one for daycare that just stays there.

B has a stuffed fox that is his lovey, and it depends on the day. If he's having a rough morning he wants to take it with him, and we let him with the understanding that Fox has to stay in his cubby until the end of the day. The last couple of tough days, though, my husband hasn't wanted to fight with him and has let him keep it, which I think is causing problems because they're not supposed to bring their own toys, so I think we're going to have to make a new rule that Fox stays in the car.

We had a separate lovey that stays at daycare for her and while she is 10000% attached to her official lovey, she was always ok with the other one at school. Once she moved up to the toddler room, she magically ditched both the lovey and pacifier (but still need both at home).

we don't let lovies leave the house, we've always had it that way. ( We can't replace this particular one, the company went out of business ) so we didn't want to risk losing it. She knew that as it's never gone anywhere with her, it wasn't going to daycare either.

Yes, as soon as she was allowed to bring one when she moved to the young toddler room, she did. Initially we had the "one for home and one for school" system, but then she started wanting to bring different ones each day. I just toss them in the wash occasionally and don't worry too much about it.

She started daycare at 7 months old, when she was old enough (IMO) to have a lovey at home, but it was against the rules at daycare to have anything in the crib. So there was no possibility of her being able to nap with it at daycare, so it stayed home and always has. Now she understands that her dino lives in the crib all the time.

LO has just recently become super attached to a small stuffed animal. I can't decide if I should let her take it to daycare or not. On the one hand - ew, daycare germs, and I'm afraid it will get lost. But on the other she loves it so and cries when I make her leave it at home. What do you do?
