E started daycare young, at 8 weeks. The first month of daycare is the best he's ever slept. He was much more entertained through the day and slept better at night.

I think she could be extra tired and just needing extra mom time!

We had a sleep regression when LO started daycare, but she was very young when we started (12 weeks) so I'm not sure if is the same reason as yours! Baby might just want some extra time with you, though!

LO (almost 11 months) started daycare this week (sniff) on a part-time basis. I only had her there for a couple of hours and would take her after she finished lunch. She had been waking up at around 6:30-7am, so she is out of her mind tired by 11:30am, and will take a 2.5 hour nap when she comes home.

She did okay the first night after daycare, but yesterday she woke up at 2am and wouldn't go to sleep until i nursed her. Then she woke up at 6am, and we had to coax her to go back to sleep. She went to sleep at 7pm but she has been crying on and off for the last 30 minutes.

Is this because she's over-tired? Or is it the anxiety from daycare that's making her wake up in the middle of the night?
