It 'tones' your uterus but drinking RRL tea will not bring on labour if your body isn't already ready to go. I drank it through my whole pregnancy.

Yes, I felt more braxton hicks and have been drinking it since 34 weeks... but everything I've read also says it doesn't induce labor, so I think it's just my uterus "strengthening" - we're sooo close!!!

I was told that it strengthens your uterus and helps you contract more efficiently, but it doesn't actually induce labor. I drank it for the last month of my pregnancy and never had any contractions, not even braxton hicks!

My doc said I shouldn't start drinking it til 37 weeks because of the possibility that it could cause contractions. But everything I've read online says it won't do that. I cheated and started a couple of days early (tomorrow is 37 weeks) and I still haven't even felt so much as Braxton Hicks! I'm getting really curious as to what contractions will feel like. Has anyone noticed red raspberry leaf tea causing physical changes? Like contractions, discomfort, etc...

P.S. It tastes really good if you drink it iced w/a little cranberry juice mixed in.
