I wouldn't start until she's showing that she knows she's about to poop and is uncomfortable with that. It's great that she's at least becoming more aware of it!

I think its time to start, I wouldn't push it but maybe she'll just get it. I know my cousins daughter was out of diapers by 18 months because she was doing things like this. :)

DS did this a few times at this age then stopped doing it. He's nearly 18 months. Might be too early.

Yesterday, I was sitting at the kitchen table eating my lunch when I began to smell poop. I look up (LO was in the living room in front of me playing with toys) and my LO had taken her poopy diaper off and had covered her hair, face, legs, and our white carpet in poop. I had just changed her, so she must have taken the diaper off the instant she went. (Oh and just in case you were wondering, her poo was dark blue from all the blueberries she's been eating off our bush).

Well, this morning it happened again. We were playing outside, and she did her morning poop. She instantly started whining and pulled her diaper off and threw it in the pool.

Is she ready to start learning about potty training? Still way too early? She is 14.5 months.

ETA: I know NOTHING about potty training....
