A co-worker just complained to me recently that her friend said she was &#34;opinionated&#34; and how that offended her. So I looked up the official definition and didn't realize that it had a negative connotation!

<description>&#60;p&#62;Yeah I always associated opinionated with being stubborn and hard-headed so I always use &#34;strong opinions&#34; towards a certain subject instead if I need to describe someone who I think is opinionated but has valid reasoning skills.

<description>&#60;p&#62;I never realized that being &#34;opinionated&#34; was somewhat negative! &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;The official definition is &#34;Holding stubbornly and often unreasonably to one's own opinions.&#34;&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I've called people opinionated before but I totally meant it in a positive way (like they had strong opinions about topics as opposed to being indifferent about them). OOPS! I hope I didn't offend anyone!!
