@betsyboop: My LO's sleep issues all started at 3.5/4 months! It's a major combo of teething, wonder week + sleep regression. God help me.

@betsyboop: There's an explanation for all behavior that deviates from the norm, right?!

I keep hearing people talk about the 4 month regression so I've been bracing myself but also wondering if she's going through it now. They go through so many phases and changes at this age that it feels like there is always a wonder week, growth spurt, or regression messing with us! I can't keep up!

My son is 4 months and has had pretty poor sleep for about 3 weeks - went from sleeping 6-7 hours straight to 4-5 and then recently just 3 hours. However, we went on vacation and things got screwy. Then we transitioned him to his crib. Then, he started rolling and we quit the swaddle. So, I don't know if it's regression or just a lot of changes but his sleep is pretty poor right now. On the other hand, he is in his crib for almost 12 hours a night (with a few wakes) whereas before he only would sleep 10 hours (with one wake).

My LO goes though different stages she will be 5 months old tomorrow. Within the last two months she sometimes will sleep all through the night continuously for weeks and then for no reason she will start doing what you described. I understand that sleep regressions do happen and in our case they seem to resolve themselves without me doing anything different. Sometimes I think she is just going through a phase

My LO will be 4 months in a few days and has just started rolling over. We used to have a bedtime routine that worked great, and she would fall asleep within a few minutes of being placed in the crib. These days she will roll onto her tummy and fuss for a good 30 minutes with lots of back patting. She'll fall asleep but will wake up probably 10 times within the 2 hours of being put down. After her 10pm feeding, however, she will sleep until 5:30-6am (she used to consistently wake at 3:30am for a feeding).

So my question is, should I expect it to get worse from here on out, or did any of you have LO's who didn't have wakings every 2-3 hours all night?
