It's tricky enough to get situated and get him latched without adding in a cover. The few times I've used a blanket, he just ripped it off. I nurse at home with a boppy and take it with us wherever we go so maybe he does well with that continuity. He'll only eat for a minute or so. But once she was hungry enough to ask she didn't care where we were.
