Ha ha, aw bless her, that's super cute. A is too young yet but I totally think she will, she's got an independent streak, that's for sure.

@Mrsbells: I usually just let her roll around on her mat and experiment herself. I've shown her how to move herself to get up on her hands and knees only a couple of times though because she seemed to not get what she needed to do to get to that position. I stopped doing that a few days ago though and now it looks like she's close to doing it herself (well, she did do it a minute ago but that's the first time that I know of).

Yes when she was trying to crawl she did like to practice on her own, sometimes us helping them actually hinders them, because I realize she has her own technique for doing things

LO has been trying to push up on her hands and knees for a while now but can't seem to do it. I've been helping her move herself to get to that position and once she's there, she lets go and tries to do it again, but just gets frustrated.

The past two days though, when I've put her down for a nap, I've noticed her trying to do it more in her crib than when she's playing with me. Just now, she actually did it, I saw it on the video monitor. She pushed herself up onto her hands and knees and held it for a minute. I'm super proud and I also think it's kind of funny that she seems to want to practice in private.

Has anyone else noticed this?
