Daycare wouldn't use cloth, which was frustrating because another location of the same chain said that they could do it, but the one near our house had a bunch of "Ministry guideline" reasons why it was impossible. I offered solutions but they just had more reasons, so I gave up because it seemed clear that they didn't want to deal with the hassle.

We are starting daycare in 2 weeks and they are fine with cloth. We have pockets and AIOs so it's really simple for them. They will just toss them in a wetbag and I'll deal with it at home.

The nanny we had and now daycare (both she's been to) use cloth. They had zero issues. I had to teach the nanny and daycare had experience. I always have disposables as back up at home and daycare supplies disposables if they needed them. We don't have any local family but if we did we'd have them do cloth too, we use pockets and I just pre-stuff so they're easy. I do all the wet bag sorting and spraying when I get home.

Yep! They were all a little hesitant but we showed them what we do and they realized it is easy. That being said, we don't ask them to deal with the poopy diapers. Those go in a plastic bag and we clean them off at home. To me that is the only part that is harder than disposables.

They (daycare) used cloth when we did, but we kept disposables there as backup. My parents were kind of resistant to cloth, so it was no big deal to take a few disposables to them when we visited.

Or do you leave disposables for them? We leave disposables for my mom when she babysits (we bring the kids there, so often just leave some at my parents house) and our date night sitter uses disposable as well. I don't think it would be too hard to teach them how to use cloth, but I don't want to make them feel like they have to...because it's definitely not for everyone!

Does your sitter/daycare use cloth? Were they ok about it or a little hesitant?
