My son has a hard time with younger kids, he doesn't seem to want to understand that they're still learning where he's mastered something, like sharing.

Youngest for both of them. They have always liked playing with older kids, but as DD1 has gotten older, she's been nicer to littler kids. I'm hoping DD2 will follow suit, because currently, at almost 2, she has no patience for even her own, younger cousin.

youngest--he is much better at sharing, turn taking, using his words, following directions when he is around older kids.

At school/daycare/preschool, does your child do best when they are the oldest or youngest?

My child seems to do best when she is in a room full of older kids. She lives to learn new things and is not a full-blown leader. Right now she is in a room where she is the oldest - and she is only 3.5. They don't move up until 4. It's going to be a long 6 months.
