DD (3.5yo) loves to help, everything except picking up her toys at the end of the day. If it's something I'm doing though, she's all up in my business asking to do it too.</p> <p>I think DS (14 mo) is going to too - his favorite toy is this small push broom thing, he would sweep all day every day if we let him. He's good at carrying light things, always runs to grab a blanket or wipe when his baby sister spits up alllll over, loves putting things in the garbage, and wipes up (not amazingly) when he spills. The other night I was getting dd undressed for bath and he took his clothes and diaper off, turned the tap on, and put DD's baby tub into the bath. So helpful!!</p> <p>ETA: he also helps feed the dogs, empty the dishwasher, and with the laundry. He is 4.5 and loves to help me clean. Last weekend he got the vacuum out, I showed him how to use it, and he vacuumed our two rugs. It's adorable, but can also be frustrating since she's only 12 months. I love it. She's old enough now to carry/open some things that may have been too heavy/hard just a few months ago. She carries things to the car, opens doors, puts away dishes, etc. It's awesome!</p> <p>Does your child like to help? </p>
