My 4 yr old has no objection to me feeding him. Usually happens when he's eaten enough on his own to take the edge off and has gotten distracted, and I just want to get a few more bites into my skinny kid.

Sometime! Towards the end of a meal when she is more like playing with her food, I'd try to just feed her to finish up. Sometimes she happily lets me, sometimes she pushes me away or grabs onto the spoon/fork! She is 9 mo.

My daughter is 3 and asks me to feed her her vegetables that she doesn't want to eat so that she can be excused. Lol

She is fine with it. I don't do it much, but some nights is the only way to get her to eat something.

My lo is 16 mo and does not like when I put food in her mouth. Unless we are playing a game if you-feed-me-I-feed-you. She does let me load her fork and spoon though (then hand it to her) because she hasn't figured that out yet and gets quickly frustrated when she tries

I haven't feed my son since he learned to use a spoon himself, at around a year. It was one of those things that he picked up early and we just went with.

Eh. I don't usually have to because he is a good eater but if I do he just opens up and eats it usually. Unless he doesn't want to eat it at all. Then he pushes it away. He is 2.5

My daughter is 3 (almost 4 though) and objects in very strong terms when I put food on a fork and try to feed her! She always says she can feed herself. However, she doesn't really so I'm often tempted to help out. I should probably just let her not eat, and depend on hunger to motivate her... or maybe some day, she'll actually decide she likes food and wants to eat!
