Yes. My son talks constantly. Sometimes he gets stuck on an word or a thought and it takes a few seconds to find the word or reformulate. When I see that he's stuck, I tell him to think about it for a second and he can almost always recompose in his mind and say what he needs to say, and faster!

Lol, YES! And she talks All. Day. Long. Don't get me wrong, I love it, but sometimes I just want a few minutes of quiet! I do love her stories, and she always cracks me up, but when they take ten years, I find myself struggling not to hurry her along....

I think this is my comeuppance though as I have always been teased for telling never ending stories. In my defence though, I just like to build up the background to give a full picture of the story I'm trying to tell.....I'm sure DD is just trying to do the same! :silly:

OMG. Sometimes I want to get moving but my daughter is trying to find every word in her vocabulary to add it to the question she is asking or to the story she is telling. And if I happen to interrupt her? Watch out. She takes foreeeeeverrrrrr to just spit it out! Don't get me wrong, I'm so glad she's talking a lot and wants to use ALL of her her words but...omg. Someone shoot me. We need to leave the house and you're going to tell me this story that is going to take 4 years. Should I have a seat?

Anyone else in this situation?
