I don't think she means it maliciously. I say similar things to my husband when I clean my own house, and clearly I'm not being judgmental of myself. </p> <p>Maybe try telling her how you feel? I doubt she realizes that she's being hurtful. I'd just say something along the lines of, "I'm pregnant, so I'm probably being over sensitive, but when you make comments like that it makes me feel like your judging the condition of my home. I know you don't mean it that way, but would you mind curbing those kinds of comments?"
