No. I'm always irrationally worried about swallowing or choking somehow. I was told about some girl who swallowed her rubber band and died in her sleep when I was young. Never knew if it was true or not, but it stuck with me.

She never used to but her hair is so long in front now that I've been keeping it in her whale spout for bedtime unless we've just washed it. I feel bad in the mornings when she wakes up and her hair is just all in her face.

She will absolutely not go down for a nap or for the night without her hair in a ponytail. I'm the same way though. I do not like hair in my face at night.

Yes we always put her hair in a low ponytail for sleep, otherwise she wakes up with a rats nest / it bothers her because its in her face. But her hair is super long and curly!

never! She has a bath right before bed so we comb her damp hair and she goes to sleep like that. No tangles in the morning. Yet!!!

@mrbee: Its confusing at first, but once you get where your fingers go, it's easy! Just takes practice. I can french braid my own hair without even looking.

@loveisstrange: I watched a few braiding videos on YouTube, but learned that braiding is a lot harder than it looks!

Not usually. Im considering doing braids at night though, since her hair is so curly and gets super matted in the back.

No. She cannot be trusted with hair accessories...she puts them in her mouth! So I only let her wear them when DH or I can supervise her.

Olive usually has a ponytail or a bun going on, so I try to remember to take the hair tie out. Otherwise her hair gets so tangled in the morning! It's gotten better since we've been brushing her hair regularly, but I've learned that an ounce of ponytail prevention is worth a pound of brushing cure.
