That said, most of the little ones don't stay the full day, so it's usually just the big kids at the end of the day anyway. It depends how many of what age on how they combine. When I drop off DS spends about 20 min with the "big kids". He loves this so much and they are all so excited to see him in the morning. The core program is 9am-3pm. 7am-8:55am is "before care" and 3:05-5pm is "after care." I like it because it's given DD and myself a chance to get to know the teachers and kids she will be with when she transitions. One of her regular teachers is always still there though. They do it less when they have younger babies in the infant room who aren't mobile yet.
