It is staffed daily with a nurse, there are 4 rooms (they are split up based on illness - there's a "throwing up room", a rash room, fever room... I can't remember the other). I believe it's on a different ventilation system too. </p> <p>Babies/children can go there if they get sick during the day and parents aren't able to pick up, or they can be dropped off there in the morning knowing they are ill. The cost is $50 per day if your kids go to daycare there, but it's $70 per day I think for anyone else (yep, they take kids that aren't enrolled). </p> <p>I generally take off when DD is sick, but we did have a day that she got sick at school early in the day and both DH and I had meetings for work and just couldn't get there to pick her up. It's awesome just knowing it's there for those reasons! I've never used it since we've always been able to work from home or otherwise flex time to care for DS, but I have coworkers who've used it and loved it.
