It's a mix.
Fruits: bananas, apples, orange slices
Carbs: muffins, crackers + cheese, crackers + jam, pretzels
Not so great: oatmeal cookies, ice cream, chocolate chips

I usually provide extra snacks when they are serving something on the "do not give DD" list.

Lunch includes 2 fruit or veggies. Usually one of the snacks is fruit/veggie based and the other is dairy or whole grain based. Our daycare has a chef, so they make the snacks. Even if its carb based its minimally processed and not full of preservatives.

Breakfast and lunch includes it but not snack. However, the fruit they do is mostly canned fruit.

We send some fruit to supplement the carb snacks they have even if its just raisins or somethign.

mix of fruit, usually apples, and prepackaged carbs at our daycare.

last year i sent all our own snacks but i don't bother anymore. charlie is in public pre-k now and they provide so much food (breakfast, lunch, snack) and all the kids eat the school food.

All group snacks at our day care are provided by parents, and we rotate. I always include fruit/cheese in my group snacks, and I hope other parents do the same, but I don't have any control over what they bring.

Ours does not. Snacks are normally some carb item like nutrigrain bars, goldfish crackers or cheese and crackers. In looking around in our area, I'm finding some of the more pricier daycares do provide fruit with at least first snack, if not second (lunch always includes it).

I send her lunch and snacks so it doesn't really matter to me here but, I'm curious what other daycare centers provide food-wise.
