Our daycare provides lunch and a snack. We are not to bring in our own food.
The nutritional factors in their meals is really balanced. Makes me life so much easier.

They provide 2 snacks, lunch, and milk once your child reaches 1 year. You are more than welcome to bring your own food, but I tried to do that and my LO refused to have different food than her peers! I do bring in organic milk and organic yogurt for her, though.

DS is in an in-home day care and they provide snacks and lunch. DS is eating table food now and eats some of what the other kids eat - potatoes, bananas, toast, pasta, other fruits and veggies... I don't think that she doesn't allow outside food, and I still bring puffs and crackers for him, but as he gets older I'll stop. She doesn't have the widest variety of really healthy food, but it's balanced and home cooked, and so far I haven't had an issue. I'm sure I'll have questions as he gets older regarding what he's eating, but so far, so good.

Ours provides snacks and lunch everyday with the exception of infants. Now that my son is eating some table foods I ask them to offer him what is for lunch that day and if it isn't something he wants or can eat they'll supplement with food I bring.

The daycare we have chosen does provide snacks and lunches. They are not necessarily snacks or lunches we may provide at home, but they also do not allow outside food to come in unless the child is on a restricted allergy-related diet. I figure we can make up for the lack of nutrition at daycare at breakfast and dinner (when the time comes).

Does your daycare provide meals for your child or do you pack them a snack and a lunch?
