Ds now sleeps through the night, but when he's having a bad night, dh is the one that's up with him. When she was waking twice a night we would decide who got first and second shift. Now, if he is off a day during the week he will do any night time wakings so I can get a good nights sleep for me to go to work the next day. If we both work the next day we just take turns.<br /> We do this with washing all the bottles and making them as well.<br /> I asked him once why he helps so much without me asking and his response was " She's my daughter too. He wakes up and gives her the morning bottle while I get ready though! He works and I stay home, so I can grab a nap during the day but he can't. After he went back to work and I was still on maternity leave, I handled the night feedings so he could get a good night's sleep since he had to work. She currently is cutting her first tooth, has a double ear infection, and diarrhea/terrible diaper rash from the antibiotics. Nights have been rough to say the least.
